Catching up is hard to do!!!

It seems like I have been so busy for the longest time!
But, I wanted to share some of the fun parts.
I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted to, but here are the
STARS OF THE SHOW

Aren't they the cutest couple you have ever seen!

Tanner and Ashlyn both had soccer games during this week
and they were so excited to have their cool Uncle Brian
and their famous Aunt Sarah there to cheer them on!

We got all the grand kids together for a picture. (L-R)
Dustin, Cambria, Ashlyn, Ellie, Sam, Haylie, Tanner!

Now before you scroll down to the next picture think about this:

Is this a face you would want to
wake up next too?

I told my dad to smile because he had taken his top teeth out.
I guess this was pretty close.
It is also a great bargaining chip to get things that I want. J/K

My cute mom has been looking for a quick and
easy way to do her hair. She decided to look
into some hair extensions to see if we could get thick ponytail going.
We really weren't sure how to put them in at first,
so we had a practice run.

But...something wasn't quite right so we
thought we would try it from a different perspective!
Does this look any better?

Yeah, were weren't sure either. We tried to get another perspective
from Bella but she not so good at sitting
still for things like this.
WHAT GREAT MEMORIES

Busy Times

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive! I do have pictures to post and stories to blog about, as soon as life calms down a bit. Between doctor visits, feeling sick, new health problems, taking my dad to the doctor, driving him around, cleaning, cooking, well you get the point. And my little bro and his wife are here from New York for a week (that is good news) things have been a little crazy! So, I will be back soon. I know all of you are dying to hear from me... :D Hope everyone is doing great!!! And thank you to everyone who keeps writing so I have entertainment to brighten everyday!

Happy Easter...

I was talking with my aunt Kathy a few weeks ago and
she mentioned to me a talk that she thought was amazing and the
other day she came and brought me a copy of it.
I haven't finished the entire thing, but what I have read has been amazing,
like it had been written just for me for right now in my life.
It is a CES Fireside given by Jeffrey R. Holland.
It is called Lessons From Liberty Jail.
It is long, but so worth reading!!!
I also saw on the church website that Elder Holland is sharing
some of his thoughts about Easter and is it beautiful!

Lets take a trip down memory lane...

I have bee looking for old t.v. show theme songs to put on my MP3 player (I know everyone who is anyone has an iPOD now but I LOVE my MP3 player!). I came across some of them on YouTube and thought others might enjoy this little trip as much as I have. I'll have to keep looking for ways to find these songs in a downloadable version. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Cheers...

I am not sure why, but this song has always given me such a calm and happy feeling every time I have listened to it. I am giggling just thinking about it. It's even the ringtone on my phone! I put this here mostly so I can listen to it all the time, but also to share the joy, because: 'Men are that they might have joy!"

Great advice!!!

I was looking at a friends blog today (Heather, you always find the
most amazing things, that I tend to 'borrow')
and saw these quotes and I thought they were all pretty dang important!!
So, I wanted to share with all of my blogging friends.
They are all hard things to do, but very important.
I tend to forget: 'Men are that they might have joy'
and just get caught up in all of the craziness of life.
I think I need the middle one the most!
I have been getting stressed more often lately and
when I do that I forget to just take a breath and calm down!
Wouldn't it be great if the world would do that!
Instead of having wars, we would have mass yoga sessions!

General Conference...

I have been looking forward to General Conference for a while now.
Every 6 months it is like getting personal answers
to every question or concern I have.
I can't wait until the Ensign comes out so I can study each talk and see
how to more fully apply it in my life.
My parents and I also buy conference on DVD so we can watch it any time we want.
I am especially excited to get this session so I can watch the
talks I slept through...I NEVER do this! I was so upset when I woke up!
Oh well, I guess this gives me something to improve on for next time...
