So SAD!!
Last night I found out that two of my college friends lost their 8 year old son in a car accident last week. I hardly slept last night because I felt so sick because of their loss. Life is such a wonderful gift and it is so precious. Tanya and Eric, my thoughts and prayers are with you! I hope you can find some peace in such a confusing time!

It's finished!
All is well, all is well!!! I got home at about 7:00 tonight and I have been doing pretty good. I have five incisions that are 2-3 inches long and a puncture wound...yah, go figure. My abdomen was numb for most of the day and now I am starting to feel a lot of pain. So I am headed back down to the couch and the ice packs!!!

The big day...
Tomorrow is the BIG day. I can't believe it has come so soon, yet has taken FOREVER!!! It is interesting the things you start to think about when you are going under the knife. Of course there is the excitement and the joy for the end result, but there is also the anxiety and trepidation for fear of the unknown. I have done this so many times you would think I would have it down to a science, but fear always seems to rear it's ugly head. In 11 hours I will have the greatest experience...going to sleep. For an insomniac that is VERY exciting. And the worst experience...waking up. Now don't get me wrong I want to wake up, but the pain is HORRIBLE! Tonight I had a beautiful blessing, and I am over the fear of that 5% chance I could die. And for my last thoughts, isn't the Gospel wonderful!!! I have the faith to know that everything will be fine. A big thanks to all my friends and family for all the well wishes, your support means SOO much. And THANK YOU to all of the little angels for making this possible!!! Talk to you all at the after party :D

A fifteen year prayer has been answered....
If my calculations are correct I have had 12 surgeries, yes, I did say 12! I had no choice in the decision of those, but this time is different. After months of research, prayer, fasting, pro & con lists, talking to the magic 8 ball, and a series of miracles, I have chosen to have surgery #13. I know that this may seem odd to some of you but I am completely excited. With some of the health problems I have had since birth I have been forced to take several medications with the main side effect being weight gain. It has been one of the hardest things I have had to endure in my life...and those of you who know me really well know I have been through A LOT! So, with the series of miracles I mentioned before I am able to have Lap Band Surgery!!!
I am hoping for the best, and my faith lies in my Heavenly Father, who I know answers prayer's, even if it takes 15 years!
This is much less invasive than the old gastric bypass surgery that was always done before. Less problems, less pain, it's out patient surgery, easier to recover from and has a better success rate...what more could I ask for. I am excited beyond words to have this opportunity and I can't wait until the day which is AUGUST 18!
This is what my innards will look like. The tube with the button looking top is a port that will be below my skin so the band can be adjusted (bigger or smaller) depending on the situation I am in. This surgery is also completely reversible in case there is ever a problem.
I am hoping for the best, and my faith lies in my Heavenly Father, who I know answers prayer's, even if it takes 15 years!

Click, Clack, Moo...
Sarah Katherine Gee
in Click, Clack, Moo.
This is the new show my sister-in-law is in.
It's from the 2005 children's book 'Click, Clack, Moo'.
Sarah is playing two parts in the production.
A girl (standing, 2nd from the left),
and a chicken (second from the left).
Not only is Sarah a great actress, she is one of the sweetest,
most kind, and loving people I have ever met!!
Sarah, we love you and are so proud of you!!!
As a side note, on opening night,
my brother Brian was standing in line next to Tina Fay.
